New: Flutes for left-handed flutists
Except for some custom made and therefore expensive concert flutes there have been no flutes for left-handed flutists on the market. We at VIENTO have responded to a number of enquiries and have developed the first flute especially made for left-handed flutists as a standard production item.
First experiences show that these flutes are not only interesting for left-handed persons starting to learn the flute but as well for flutists who play a lot and sometimes develop problems with their posture. Playing occasionally with a left-handed concert flute can overcome such problems.
VIENTO flute FL 200 L
The VIENTO FL 200 L flute, a left-handed version, is technically and from its sound characteristics equivalent to our FL 200 models. The “L”-versions have mirrored mechanics, lip plate and tone holes, which allows left-handers to play the flute in a way and posture they feel most comfortable with.
Material: nickel silver, silver plated. E mechanism, offset G, wooden case, carry bag. 3 year warranty.

VIENTO flute FL 250 L
The left-handed version of the VIENTO FL 250 L concert flute is technically and in sound characteristics equivalent to our FL 250 model. The “L”-version has mirrored mechanics, lip plate and tone holes, which allows left-handers to play the flute in a way and posture they feel most comfortable with.

VIENTO flute FL 300 L
The left-handed version of the VIENTO FL 300 concert flute is technically and in sound characteristics equivalent to our FL 300 model. Instead of french keys normal keys are used, but with engravings. Like all VIENTO flutes for left-handers, also the FL 300 L has mirrored mechanics, lip plate and tone holes. It allows left handed flutists to play a silver flute in a way and posture they feel most comfortable with.
